NIRS on the Road

Road into HorizonA critical element of the NIRS mission is to ensure broad dissemination of our research findings.  On a regular basis, NIRS participates in events from coast to coast delivering speeches and serving on panels.

We kept up the fast pace this summer.  NIRS executive director Beth Almeida traveled to Louisville, KY, to share retirement and pension information with hundreds of policy makers at the 2010 National Conference of State Legislatures Annual Conference.  The conference presentation is available to download in PDF here.

Meanwhile, NIRS director of programs Ilana Boivie headed west to discuss the economics of pensions.  Her presentation at the 2010 National Council on Teacher Retirement Trustee Workshop in Portland, OR, is available here.

We hope all of NIRS research and educational products are a useful tool as you work to educate your stakeholders on retirement and pension issues.
