The differences in life expectancy between defined benefit pension pension plan participants and the U.S. population as a whole. Recent improvements in life expectancy have not been shared equally across society, and socioeconomic status is a key driver in mortality expectations. According to research from Club Vita presented in this webinar, pension plan participants have a noticeably longer life expectancy than the U.S. population, along with a faster rate of longevity improvements.
